Moments of Bliss : Our Detour Way Down South

The picturesque view from Killalea State Park, Shellharbour and one of the most awesome surf spots on the coast. Known to locals as the 'farm', as you once had to pass through a local farm to get to it. Unfortunately, you now have to pass through a new 'housing estate' to get to it.

Hello Bliss Seekers. If you have been following me on Instagram, you will know that I have been taking some time out to catch up with my family and friends who are interstate. We spent a week in the Illawarra, more specifically Shellharbour on the NSW South Coast. It was a bit of a rush job to try and fit everyone and everything in. We quickly realised that our next trip South will have to be double the length in time. We simply weren't aware of just how many connections we had left behind when we moved to Noosa. Family came first on this trip though. I am lucky enough to be a part of an amazing extended family who I couldn't wait to catch up with again. There is something very special about our huge gatherings where everyone from my Grandmother to my cousins and their children come together to share a meal. Of all the things we left behind in Shellharbour, this would have to be the hardest.

So this is just a quick post to let you know that all will return to normal here at My Ocean Bliss next week. I am currently spending time chilling out with my family and enjoying some much needed R and R before school resumes next week. My mind has been a buzz with ideas and inspiration for some up and coming posts which I look forward to sharing with you over the next few weeks.

Enjoy your weekend my dear friends and don't forget to find some bliss along the way, Heather xx
