Good morning bliss seekers. If you have been reading this blog for a while you may have picked up on the fact that great coffee often gets a mention. The only thing better then great coffee; is great coffee with an ocean view that is served with fantastic customer service. Here on the Sunshine Coast and in particular Noosa, we are rather spoilt for choice when it come to the coffee and the view. Mr P and I have a few favourite coffee haunts dotted around Noosa, and thought I would share one of those with you today.
It is the Sails coffee cart on the deck of Sails Restaurant; one of Noosa's most outstanding restaurants and wedding venue locations. From here we sip our lattes as we overlook the majestic morning view and potential surf conditions off Noosa Main beach, whilst engaging in general chit chat with other locals and holiday makers alike. The smell of freshly baked croissants and muffins waft through the air and the sight of fresh fruit salad and bircher muesli tempts us to indulge on the occasional snack. The vibe is friendly yet relaxed which it is largely due to the fantastic barista talents of the man above who's name is John. Not only does he make darn good coffee, but his interaction with his customers is impressive. He remembers names and coffee orders from the minute he spots people. I'm sure he knows what Mr P and I will order before we do. He always takes the time to chat with all of the faces lined up opposite him and his coffee machine, which at times can be many, but still manages to whip through his orders with perfection. I love being in the presence of someone who truly loves what they do, I find their energy to be so inspiring.
This is the stunning view from behind the coffee cart. I couldn't make it a black and white image in keeping with the others, it was far to gorgeous and the colour plays a huge part to its essence. No wonder John always looks happy! So the next time you're at Noosa, pop in and say hello to our coffee man and enjoy an outstanding coffee with friendly service and a blissful view. For those of you that aren't going to be in Noosa any time soon; take some time to enjoy the bliss of great coffee made by your favourite barista or at your most favourite cafe.
