Inspiration Bliss : Instagram Love

Hello there bliss seekers, I'm going to take you into image overload today! I have recently discovered that I really, really love Instagram, and that it has become a real asset to My Ocean Bliss. It was only last October that I jumped into this wonderful world of blogging. Previous to then, the only social media app I used and loved was Pinterest and that was only because I didn't actually think about the fact that it was social media. I was a complete nervous Nelly when it came to social media. I anxiously opened a twitter account soon after starting this blog and still feel like I'm on twitter training wheels; I also opened my Instagram account but was initially overly cautious with the content I posted.

But I have to tell you that once I decided to align my pictures with the theme and vibe of My Ocean Bliss, I began to understand how much of a valuable asset it had become to the content I added to My Ocean Bliss. Imagery is especially important to the feel of this blog and I have found Instagram to be like having a mini interactive portfolio of my photography. Plus, having instant feedback via my followers on my images, helps me to decide which ones would be best to use for blog posts.

Another wonderful thing about Instagram has been connecting with others through the sharing of truly amazing images. I have discovered some visually stunning blogs from all over the world thanks to Instagram as well as a very talented bunch of Sunshine Coast and Noosa locals. You may have noticed that I've added a new Instagram feed to the right hand side of this page showing my current Instagram photos. I'd love for you to join me over at Instagram by clicking here or, on the little white camera within the grey button to the right under connect with bliss.

All of the photos in todays post are from my Instagram account and were mostly taken on my iPhone. Sending you much bliss, Heather xx

  1. I love both Instagram and Pinterest but I'm not sure I will ever get into the Twitter thing ... partly because I feel a little overwhelmed with social media already and also in part because I wouldn't have anything to say :) Your instagram photos are fab. xox
