|Pockets of blue skies and little rays of sunshine from my back garden|
Well, someone got sick of me singing that silly tune I wrote about yesterday, as what followed were pockets of blue skies and little rays of sparkly sunshine. Whilst going about my daily activity, I noticed something that often happens after bouts of inclement weather; which was a lot more people were smiling.
I must admit I am one of those people that always smiles. I am a firm believer that a simple smile can have a huge impact on the way we feel and that it is important to have a beautiful smile to share often with others. I believe it also evokes an authentic human connection with those around you (known and unknown) and encourages a positive exchange of energy. That one little smile you give to the little old lady at the post office could be the only one she receive all day. Smiles are infectious and can have an amazing effect on what seems to be a grumpy or solemn face. I find people will usually smile back reflecting kindness or friendliness and sometimes even surprise. I know when someone smiles at me I feel acknowledged which is quite a powerful feeling.
So, where ever you are and what ever your doing, don't forget to smile. I promise it will make you feel great and you may even change someones day. To help you get in the mood I have included this gem of a tune and I promise, it will make you smile!
Isn't it wonderful. It is by a group called The Leftover Cuties that to tell you the truth I know nothing about other then their music made me smile!
