Ever since writing my last post with regard to design ideas for My Ocean Bliss, I have not been able to stop. I wanted to implement as many of my ideas as I could while they were still sparkly and fresh in my mind. Needless to say I haven't been laying under the beautiful palm trees at the beach in the wonderful weather we've been experiencing. Instead, I have been tapping away at my mac fumbling through transforming some of my ideas into a reality. I'm pretty chuffed to say that the result so far has gone to plan.
I made my very first Etsy purchase of new social media buttons and even figured out how to install them using HTML code myself, which was a very first for me. For any of you interested, I found the best tutorial ever for how to do this at Beautiful Dawn Designs. You'll notice a new bio picture taken by Mr P last weekend at the beach that better reflects my personality and is more 'me'. I eventually figured out how to add one of my own photos (in the appropriate size) to my header and refreshed my template with a sample of the colours I see in my natural surroundings every day.
One huge sigh of relief later and I finally feel like My Ocean Bliss is graphically moving in a direction that reflects that which is in my mind. I still have some tweaking to do, which you'll notice shortly but for now I am happy to announce the new look My Ocean Bliss with even more snippets of the life, love and adventure I experience while seeking bliss by the sea. Now I can relax over the Easter break with my family. I hope the easter bunny finds you well and leaves you some very tasty delights.
