|The view from Sydney's Taronga Zoo - Photo By Todd Woods|
Mr P's cousin sent us this beautiful image this morning, he is enjoying a day with his gorgeous family at Sydney's famous Taronga Zoo. Ahhh, it doesn't matter how many times I view the beautiful Sydney skyline, it still takes my breath away. One of the few things I miss about living in Shellharbour (approx. 90km's south of Sydney) is our day trips to the city. Even though the traffic was chaotic, the parking seriously expensive and the city hustle and bustle often overwhelming for us quiet coastal folk, it was always well worth the effort once we finally arrived.
Many memories have been created for my family around iconic Sydney landmarks such as The Opera House, The Harbour Bridge, Sydney Tower, The Art Gallery of NSW, The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Rocks and The Sydney Ferries. Mind you, many of these landmarks have also been privy to the occasional yet inevitable day trip tantrum or melt down, often by the more junior members but sometimes even the senior ones of our family! What ever the memories were; fabulous, good, bad or ugly, they all contributed to our collection of family moments. So a big thanks goes out to our cuz for sending the glorious photo that triggered some very wonderful reminiscent thoughts.
